Emily & Jeff’s wedding in Italy took place at the elegant Relais Villa Vittoria, in Laglio on beautiful Lake Como in Italy. A private elopement with just the couple and the celebrant. I could go on for hours talking about the romantic, personal exchange of love that made this tiny wedding so memorable. The hotel gardens were in full summer bloom, the twinkling lake just a few steps away and the wedding which took place under a shady cupola was all straight out of a story book. The personal vows, love letters exchanged, their trip and video shoot on the water in a Riva speedboat on this perfect summer’s day made this a special experience. Our clients aware that nobody at all attended their wedding in Italy tasked Missing Piece Films Italy with the production of a magnificent and perfectly edited wedding video of their day. This was utterly important to them as they wished to share their love story and their marriage with family and friends once back in Texas.
Relais Villa Vittoria a 19th century villa, is an iconic 12-roomed boutique hotel today with a refined atmosphere and offers guests a wide range of options. It’s a superb choice for an intimate wedding in Italy. You and your guests can make a weekend of it and experience the best of Italy from this very location, as here you can learn to cook, paint, use their bicycles or book a boat to explore your surrounds. Just a tip: Transport in and out via the hotel’s private jetty by boat is often convenient as the roads on Lake Como are narrow and busy in summer.
Relais Villa Vittoria is found in the little village of Laglio now made famous by other famous residents George and Amal Clooney the hotel has a long history of hosting poets, writers and sophisticated travellers. It’s style is one of classic Italian lakeside luxury. Imagine how spectacular your wedding in Italy could turn out to be?
