Umbria is known as the green heart of Italy and a perfect choice for a wedding in Italy.
With its rambling hills covered in dense forests it is possibly less sought after but just as mesmerising as its famous neighbour, Tuscany.
Never ending vistas across the valleys, olive groves and ancient churches seen from far away, are scenes that await you for your wedding in Italy. All of the above is what we love to include in your wedding videos set in Umbria.
We are often amazed at the places our clients bring us to. As this is a wedding destination that we know well, having created wedding videos in Italy for clients here, we know what awaits at beautiful Nikis resort. This lovely wedding venue is named after a dear family member, Niki.
This wedding venue in Italy offers its own deconsecrated chapel decorated with frescoes if you prefer an indoor ceremony or in the event of bad weather. However, most weddings at this venue in summer are set up outdoors overlooking the picturesque valley beyond. The property is made up of restored farmhouse buildings which today present as a stylish country-style hotel run by Matteo and his family. This is the most charming location for a wedding in Italy and gives the client the closest experience one can hope for when one wishes for an Italian country style wedding. The warmth, rustic charm, glorious food and wonderful light make this all possible. In addition the sparkling swimming pools on the property are blissful heaven for anyone on a typically hoy Umbrian day.
Italy is all about food and Umbria is definitely one of the epicentres of good food. They believe in only using home-grown, home-made, home-cured, and so the words organic, locally sourced, freshly harvested come to mind. Imagine being able to serve this glorious fare to your guests at your wedding in Italy.
David and I spend substantial preparation time before a wedding in Italy exploring the location to get “the mood”, understand the light and to explore nearby locations for potential drone shots and the all-important couple wedding shoot. This so as to be able to provide the best outcome for clients.
